Reading Notes Option 1
SS 1/20 - f/5 - ISO 3200
If I had to chose my favorite type of lighting it would be back lighting. This picture of my champagne glass with strawberries was taken at night, in a very low-lit area. There was a candle sitting on the table and I thought it would be really cool to take different pictures of my glass with the lighting from behind. I knew the bubbles would look cool and the light shining through the glass would have a dream like effect. I had a higher shutter speed and low aperture. My ISO was very high to get the correct lighting of the candle. I remember playing around a lot to get the look that I wanted and achieved!

Reading Notes Option 2
When setting up this picture, I thought this van with the bright blue and yellow in the background would be better than many of the boring white buildings or plain sky. I had already taken a lot of pictures with panning of cars/motorcycles/4- wheelers, and I really wanted to get a person on a bike! I waited for awhile and some bikers went by, but not as interesting as this guy. He looked really legit and his blue outfit added even more color to the picture. I had my shutter speed at 1/60 and I focused on him when he was farther away to the left. I had my camera on continuous shooting and I started taking pictures when he got closer while panning him with the camera. I actually had a man standing next to me that got in the last few shots and prevented me from moving. Luckily one of the shots turned out. I liked how I captured his face, which looked determined.
